We know moving can be a pain, so we have done everything possible to accommodate all of our valued customers.
Both our facilities are open on Monday-Friday from 7 am to 7 pm, and 8 am to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday, giving you a large window to coordinate your move.
Our Queens location in Long Island City is situated across the water from Midtown and is right next to the F train and Q102 and Q103 buses.
Our South Bronx location is only a few minutes from Harlem and can be easily reached via the 6 train and Bx33 bus.
We have free off-street parking as well as drive-up access to make moving in and out a breeze, and our double-wide elevators, carts, and dollies will make these processes even easier.
We also sell tape, boxes, and other packing materials at both of our storage facilities to safely store your goods.
Once you are moved in, whether it be with the help of our Moishe’s movers or on your own, you will have complete and sole access to your storage unit during our operating hours.

Perhaps our most handy special is our free comprehensive move – if you agree to use our storage facility for 3 months or more (with a rental unit up to 5 x 10 feet) and reside within one of the five boroughs, we will send a team of Moishe’s employees to transport your things for free.

The process begins by either filling out the reservation form online or calling us at (800) 536-6565 to confirm your location and desired room size.
You will only need a valid form of ID (such as a driver’s license or passport), the first month’s rent, and a small administrative fee to complete the process.
After completing these steps, it is time to move-in, and we can either take care of the entire move for you (call to find out if you are eligible for a free move-in), or you can rent a truck and complete it yourself.
Rent is due monthly on the anniversary of your purchase, but we allow a 10 day grace period before a $25 late fee is applied.
To manage your account, click on the ‘My Account’ link on our website. Here you may pay bills, view the past transaction, and update your information.
If you would like to set up an auto-pay plan, you can do so online or at one of our facilities.
Need to Move Out?
We greatly value each of our customers, but if you wish to end your storage plan, we have made the process extremely simple.
All you need to do is make sure you are up to date on any outstanding balance payments and alert a member of our team that you want to close your account.
Then, just make sure your room is emptied and cleaned out by the time your storage term ends, and we will handle the rest.

If you are planning on storing any high value items with us, insurance is an important factor to consider.
In the extremely rare event that a flood, natural disaster, robbery, or some other means damages or destroys your property, most homeowner’s or renter’s insurance should apply to your stored valuables.
However, if this is not the case for you, flexible and affordable insurance can be purchased through Moishe’s.
Moishe’s Limited Liability Insurance Plan is a great option if your stored items are of lower value. It covers $0.30/lb up to $2,000 and is provided to you at no extra cost in order to protect the company from any losses.
Moishe’s Added Value Insurance is a fuller option plan, as it assures that Moishe’s will provide payment equal to the cost of the lost item(s). The cost is $7 for every $1000 valuation placed upon your stored items. If the valuation exceeds $5000, then the cost will increase to $13 for each additional $1,000.
