Go Ahead and Donate

If you have a plenty of gently used items that you have no use for anymore, consider starting a donation pile.

Donating clothing, furniture, and nonperishable food to others who need them instead of throwing them out is always a plus.

This way you help the environment by reusing resources, and any donations you make are most likely tax-deductible (so make sure you keep the receipts).

At the end of the year, you can report your donated items to the IRS for a proper tax deduction. By doing good, you’re saving money, being eco-friendly, and repurposing an item that would otherwise be thrown away. At Moishe’s, we’ll do our best to make sure that this process is as simple and smooth as possible.

What is the point of having valuable and expensive possessions, only for them to succumb to the elements and get damaged or destroyed?

Here at Moishe’s, we offer specialty climate-controlled storage for fine wine and delicate art, ensuring they will be kept safe from environmental factors and burglary.

Climate control differs from temperature control because the temperature is intensely regulated and will not be allowed to fluctuate ± 1º.

Additionally, rooms are constantly being monitored for changes in humidity, light, and vibration, so anything you put in will be left in the same exact condition, whether it be days or years in the future.

And of course, you can expect the same great security systems to completely protect your things, including patrols, safety checkpoints, and motion detectors.

We specialize in storing for museums and private collectors, so whether you are an individual connoisseur or part of a larger organization, do not hesitate to call today so we can help you estimate the perfect size space.

Getting Rid of or Donating Large Items

Do you have large items that you want to donate or purge when moving?

We are happy to add on the disposal or donation of your large items to your moving services with us on a per cubic foot basis.

While furniture cannot simply be dropped off at your local donation bin, it can still be reused and make a valuable asset for those in the community. Keep in mind that different charitable organizations have different needs. Therefore, a piece of furniture that may be accepted at one organization, may not be accepted at another.

The best way to prepare yourself is by calling ahead with ample notice to make sure the center can properly receive your items. Make sure you’re also letting your movers know what exactly needs to be moved to ensure that we can give you the help you need.
