Yes! Our team is very experienced with moving pianos and other delicate instruments. Just let us know the weight and dimensions prior to the move so we can transport it as quickly and safely as possible.

For fine art, wine, and other expensive valuables, do not fret because our climate controlled trucks and careful moving procedures will leave them in the same exact condition as you left them.

In order to legally operate, all moving companies must adhere to state and federal licensing procedures.

Moishe’s is registered with the Interstate Commerce Commission (ICC), the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT), and the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT).

Whether or not you choose Moishe’s, it is essential that you research the validity of your relocation company to ensure that they are running a legitimate operation.

Of course you have the option of packing your own belongings and we can just do the lifting for you, but we would not recommend it!

Our Moishe’s movers have performed thousands of moves and work together like a well-oiled machine, so we can carefully pack your things in a fraction of the time (at an affordable price).

This is a hard question to answer because of the plethora of factors that can influence the duration of your move, including whether you requested a packing service, if you have especially delicate items, the quantity of items, and distance to the new location.

However, we would estimate that the average local move is 3-4 hours long, and one of our relocation specialists should be able to provide you with a more accurate prediction if you give us a call.

As with many other occupations in the moving industry, tips are not required, but they are customary.

We recommend tipping 10%-15% but depending on circumstances related to weather and the makeup of your space, you may wish to tip more or less.

At the end of the day, the final amount is up to you, and it should be based on the service you were provided with.

You can also help out movers in other ways if you wish, such as by providing them with beverages or snacks.

We offer both hourly and flat rates. Be sure to speak to a relocation consultant to figure out which payment method will be better for you.

Unfortunately, due to insurance and liability reasons you cannot travel in the truck.

We would love it if we could take your furry friend along with us, but for safety reasons it is not possible.
