Today Moishe's Moving and Storage Systems announced that they are going
green. The eco-friendly move makes Moishe's the first all-green moving
company on the East Coast.
The company believes this year's Earth Day is a fitting kick-off to a
year-long transition into total green operations. Over the next year
Moishe's will institute changes that will significantly cut back on
waste and conserve massive amounts of energy. The company will
environmentally optimize their corporate offices, institute new moving
supplies rental programs, and introduce green-incentives for their
employees before the end of 2008. The entire fleet of Moishe's moving
trucks will be converted to bio-fuel by the end of 2009.
"We really feel that going green plays a massive part in being a
socially responsible company," said Moishe's CEO Gene Lemay. "We've
re-engineered our entire corporate pyramid, from our top executive's
offices, right down to the fuel our moving trucks run on. We're proud
to be the first moving company on the East Coast to make the move to
green."
Moishe's move to green includes several company-wide changes.
The transition includes:
- A Community Box Exchange Program allowing customers to exchange re-usable boxes via a website operated by Moishe's,
which will be launched in the early summer 2008.
- A paperless billing system
- Rental of light-weight and re-usable biodegradable boxes
- Replacing packing peanuts with biodegradable pellets made from recycled diapers
- Financial incentives for employees to live more environmentally responsible
- Transitioning to trucks powered by bio-fuel instead of gasoline

Jersey City, NJ--Dec 13, 2007 |

Dr. Mover, Inc, (www.drmover.com) announced today that Moishe's Moving
and Storage, the largest moving company in the NYC & Tri-State area
with operations across the entire USA, has been using Dr. Mover as it's
chosen CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.
Since implementing Dr. Mover in early 2007, Moishe's has been able to
increase sales, improve profitability, reduce costs, control pricing,
make dispatching easy, and improve customer satisfaction.
By streamlining the process of identifying leads, closing orders, and
empowering its company managers to drive sales productivity, Moishe's
sales have increased by an astonishing 25%.
Dr. Mover's tools not only increase profitability, they allow managers
to closely track and monitor profits and costs on a day-to-day and
project-to-project basis.
With Dr. Mover software, overall costs are significantly reduced.
Information flows easily and swiftly within the company by files that
are shared through designated departments within the company. The
software minimizes clerical effort while maximizing accuracy in
information and communication. Since installation, Moishe's sales costs
have gone down a full 20%.
In addition to sales costs, "box costs" are also reduced. By
precisely tracking the company's packing material inventory, Dr. Mover
is able to determine the impact of missing boxes whether workers have
given them away or failed to account for them.
In its partnership with Dr. Mover, Moishe's has been able to control
pricing by enabling its managers to establish policies for the sales
staff and to monitor how those policies are used from job to job.
Dispatching is another area in which Dr. Mover has influenced Moishe's
bottom line. A highly sophisticated file dispatch system allows men,
trucks, and job fields to be viewed concurrently and allocated with
simple clicks and drops.
"The increase in sales and the reduction of costs have been
outstanding, and perhaps most importantly, our customers have never
been happier," says Eugene Lemay, President of Moishe's Moving Systems,
commenting on customer satisfaction. "We can now communicate with our
customers at every point in order process from lead to completed job.
We then measure our own performance through surveys, allowing us to
continually make improvements."
"Moishe's is a great example of how Dr. Mover is revolutionizing the
way the relocation industry does business," says Meir Roffe, Dr.
Mover's founder. The average client experiences growth in sales revenue
by 20% just because of our software. The results are simply
spectacular."

City, NJ - Dec

Dec 4th, 2007 - Jersey City, NJ - This fall and winter,
Moishe's will once again put its moving and storage
resources at the disposal of New York Cares to
support its annual Coat Drive.
Moishe's, which began with one man and one van,
has become part of the New York City landscape. As
a local success story, with a business which now
has a national reputation, Moishe's is proud to return
to its roots and support one of the most dynamic
and dedicated charities serving the city. Moishe's
helped last year and in 2007 will do even more to
support The 19th Annual New York Cares Coat Drive.
Moishe's participation has began in October, when
all Moishe's customers were asked to donate their
old coats rather than throw them away in the big
clean-out that preludes any move. During December,
Moishe's will position one of their signature trucks
at the corner of 86th and Lexington, Monday - Friday
7:30-9:30 AM. Conveniently located by the subway,
this truck will become a local fixture advertising
the Coat Drive, and a place where people can drop
off their coats. In addition, Moishe's will provide
storage space for the coats collected at their trucks
until they are delivered to the New York Cares Coat
Drive warehouse.
"We are honored to be back helping New York
Cares," said Eugene Lemay, CEO of Moishe's. "They
improve the lives of hundreds of thousands of New
Yorkers and they exemplify what it means to be part
of the New York community. Seeing first-hand the
work they did last year was truly inspirational and
we were determined to build on our contribution this
year."
Ariel Zwang, Executive Director of New York Cares,
welcomed Moishe's back to the Coat Drive team. "We
are grateful that Moishe's is able to support us
again so generously this year. Last year, New York
Cares collected over 89,000 coats with Moishe's help
- the largest number since we began the Coat Drive
in 1989. This year, with even more support from Moishe's,
we hope to exceed that number and provide even more
coats to those New Yorkers who need them most."
