Cincinnati Moving Company Switching Things Up
There's an interesting article on Cinncinati.com about a local moving company who's moving on and moving up during the new year. They've adapted their services following the housing bubble, working out new and improved ways to maintain business. Moishe's has also done a lot to fit the changing needs of their customers, and it's always interesting to see how the trends seem to be fairly consistent, no matter where you are in the country.
From the article.
"Slow home sales meant slowing revenues for Planes Companies in 2008, so the moving company giant shifted its focus. Instead of transporting households or company furnishings, Planes instead is storing furnishings for businesses that are laying off employees now but counting on a rebounding economy later. "We have some very challenging times, and like many companies, we're being challenged to fight through this," says John F. Sabatalo, president of the family of moving companies founded by the late John Planes in 1921 at Court and Main streets downtown. Despite the economy and changing focus, the Planes Companies' goals and corporate culture haven't changed much."
